I ran Panda and it found a rootkit pretty quickly.  It then said to reboot to finish and I did.  It has set here with a black screen with the hard drive running intermittantly for almost 3 hours.  I don't really want to turn the computer off with it running.  Does it typically take this long a time?

How do I get help? Who is helping me?For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear....Become a BleepingComputer fan: Facebook

Panda Anti-Rootkit shows a list of rootkits detected...was it a known rootkit (selected by default) or an unknown rootkit?
