I acquired a Canon CanoScan LiDE 25 from my sister, Windows update had no driver and the one from here on the cannon website don't work! where can I get a working one?

That's the only place I can find drivers as well, That I would trust linking to. Contact Canon and tell them their drivers don't work for you.

In an aside, I checked the logs this topic was only moved by me, as I noted above. You posted it initially in Vista. No harm done. You're not the first nor be the last to scroll fast and post quickly in a forum one line away from the intended location. That's what we are here for.
