Good morning everybody. I am having quite a bizarre issue with our computers in our office. There are two computers connected via a LAN and they are also connected to the internet via WIFI. For some reason when someone emails me a word document from computer 1, when I download it from computer 2 and then save the file when I'm done with it, the next time I open that same file from computer 2 it opens in Compatibility mode and I CANNOT edit the document. I have to re-download it and edit it from scratch, every time.

I have messed around with all the compatibility settings/trust settings, it does not help.

Also on computer 1 there is a basic jpeg file that also when emailed to me and downloaded from computer 2, paint & windows photo viewer both say the file format is incompatible (even though it is simply a .jpg)

Sorry if this is confusing to everybody, the whole thing is very confusing to me therefore a little hard to explain. Please help me in any way! Thanks in advance!!
