Somehow accidenty had malwarebyts "off" and went to get a file and got hit with something . Had this "nysafesearch.con" in the window and could not get rid it. Tried the Emmisoft Emerg kit and it found and removed the culprit first try.

Yes, Emsisoft Anti-Malware also has the added advantage of blocking the installation of most Potentially Unwanted Programs (PUPs).
