With the computer off press the Power button and immediately start tapping the F8 key, continue until the Advanced Boot Options menu appears on the screen.  It will appear similar to the image below.

Use the up or down arrow move the pointer to Repair Your Computer['b], then press Enter.
 
Specify the desired language, and then click Next.
 
Log in as a user with administrator credentials, and then click OK.
 
Click on Dell Factory Image Restore.
 
In the Dell Factory Image Restore window, click Next.
 
Click on the checkbox for Yes, reformat hard drive and restore system software to factory condition.
 
Click on Next. The computer is restored to the default factory configuration.
 
When the operation is completed, click [b]Finish to restart the computer.

It would help if you posted just what the condition of this computer is.

 

Does it boot at all?

 

Do the LEDs or fan come on? 

 

Are we dealing with a dead computer?

could anyone  give me the Download file for the Drivers on a 5010 Dell so i could put it on my Computer.

Click the dropdown box here depending on if your OS is 32bit or 64bit. Download the driver you need from the list. You said it was the 5010. The page I linked to is the N5010.

i just loaded 7 0n but i need Driver for 5010 down load  do you have the driver file i could lod on the Mach.

joel178, if you want, I can link you directly every drivers you need to install, no need to install all of them if you already have some installed.

  • Download MiniToolBox and move the executable file to your Desktop;
  • Execute MiniToolBox and check the following options:
    • List Devices - Only Problems;
  • Once this is done, click on Go and wait for the scan to complete;
  • Once the scan is complete, a log will open. Please copy/paste the content of the output log in your next reply;
