Hi All

I was reading a tech Microsoft report on RAT's and it recommended Agnitum Tauscan for its effective scanning relating to that type of Trojan. I have never heard of it, has anyone got any info.

I read the introduction and noticed that they did not mention AM (anti-malware) applications, as these will detect Trojans and other specific threats.

Agnitum Tauscan looks interesting, but just detecting trojans isn't that great.

IMO I'll remain with Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and Emsisoft Anti-Malware, as they will detect RATs as well as other threats.

Agnitum is a Russia software company mostly known for its development of Outpost Firewall. It was ony a few years ago they decided to offer anti-trojan software which works similar to TrojanHunter.
