Hi. I've been trying to fix this problem for a few days now and have officially run out of solutions. My laptop froze on me while using the internet. I held the power button down to restart it and now it refuses to boot. Everytime I try it does the same thing, it will go to a blue screen that says ":( your pc has ran into a problem and needs to restart", under that it says "unmountable boot volume". It restarts itself and tries to prepare automatic repair but the screen just goes black and after about 15 minutes later it restarts itself and does the same thing over again.

I've tried going into safe mode with f8 and shift + f8 but it doesnt work. I've also tried creating a windows recovery usb on a friends computer and tried to boot it by selecting it after pressing f12 but it just shows the lenovo boot screen and goes to a black screen indefinitely.
It is a lenovo y400 laptop, windows 8 64-bit.
