My laptop was hacked can they get to my iPad and phone too
Last year we had a hacker could it be same person
He knew all we did how

The iPad itself can not be "hacked", but because of the way iDevice (iPhone, iPod, iPad) back ups work, all the content is stored on your computer.
So the data that you have backed up can be accessed, but the device itself can not be.

If you root or jailbreak it, that can weaken security on it. So after jailbreaking you install John Doe's app. John the hacker gains root shell access to your i-pad. Your i-pad is connected to your home network shares. The next thing you know your entire network is hacked 6 days a week and twice on Sunday.
