What problem is it causing? Seems to be a legit process.


ACEngSvr.exe - Should I Block It? (ACEngSvr Module)

There are 4 versions of acengsvr.exe in the wild, the latest version being 1, 0, 0, 4. acengsvr.exe is run as a standard windows process with the logged in user's account privileges. The average file size is about 169.29 KB. The file is a digitally signed and issued to ASUSTeK Computer Inc. by VeriSign. The programs ASUS Splendid Video Enhancement Technology, NVIDIA Stereoscopic 3D Driver and USBCharge+ have been observed as installing specific variations of acengsvr.exe. During the process's lifecycle, the typical CPU resource utilization is about 0.0012% including both foreground and background operations, the average private memory consumption is about 6.17 MB with the maximum memory reaching around 6.96 MB. Addionally, typically read and write I/O disk operations is about 673 Bytes per minute for reads and 8 Bytes per minute for writes.
What is acengsvr.exe?
The ACEngSvr Module (acengsvr.exe) is part of ASUS Utilities and Drivers which is typiclaly pre-installed with all ASUS PCs. ASUS Drivers Update Utility updates your system drivers for ASUS devices by scanning your system for currently installed drivers.
