So, the Lenovo and Superfish debacle is getting a ton of press. But the one thing that I haven't read about is how Lenovo plans to fix this massive error of theirs.

Anyone have any ideas how a fix of this scale could be implemented to end users? Or should we batten down the hatches in expectation of a TON of man in the middle attacks?

Hello there,

Lenovo had released instructions on how to uninstall Superfish. Alternatively you can root it out with a lot of AV products on the market (even Microsoft Security Essentials will detect it).

A discussion about Superfish is here.
