Hi, I'm trying to turn on Windows Firewall but it says 'action centre can't turn on Windows firewall'.

I've had to attach the logs because I kept getting notified my post was too long.

Should I post a new FRST log because it's been two days?

Hello, Welcome to BleepingComputer.
I'm nasdaq and will be helping you.

If you can please print this topic it will make it easier for you to follow the instructions and complete all of the necessary steps in the order listed.
===

Your logs are clean.

I suspect that your 360 Software has it's own Firewall and as such will disable the Windows Firewall.
You can check with them if I'm correct.

This tool may also give me some indication.

Download Security Check by screen317 from here
  • Save it to your Desktop.
  • Double click SecurityCheck.exe and follow the onscreen instructions inside of the black box.
  • A Notepad document should open automatically called checkup.txt; please post the contents of that document.
p.s.
If the SecurityCheck program fails to run for any reason, run it as an Administrator.

If the site is busy or not available use this mirror site:
