Hello everyone, I have a hard drive from my broken laptop and I want to get some of my files there. I just don't know what kind/model of USB adapter to pick. My hard drive is Toshiba MK2546GSX.

Please help me and thank you :)

Hello, and Welcome,

If the new computer has USB3 then you could use an enclosure like this for a external drive.

I'm more of a fan of the one for all adapters.  While that one is USB2, it should be fine for moving your data.
