i need some advice on home cloud storage any imput on wd cloud storage

It may help us help you more if you tell us what exactly your trying to do with your cloud storage .. there may be other solutions that will work better for your desired use.

Okay well there are quite a few solutions out there.. certainly nothing wrong with Wd's iCloud solutions.  Here is a good article on many other solutions

 

I can tell you that synology and qnap I believe have been in the cloud storage solution a bit longer than WD.  I think you just need to find the one that suits your needs and has the space you want.

 

When I decide on a piece of hardware I often go to their support pages and see what kinds of problems are being reported and how they are being addressed.

 

If you have some specific questions about a particular solution maybe we can help answer.
