I've searched  low and high (WD forum,Ebay,Google etc) for a docking station for the above. My laptop died suddenly and I want to back-up the files on it.

It seems Western Digital 2.5" eide hdd drives are different from the rest and the docking stations available generally don't seem to support them.

Surely somebody else has had this situation before. It's puzzling why WD hdd's aren't compatible like the rest of the makers.

Would be grateful for any information regarding reading my hdd.[attachment=161807:WD Hdd 3.jpg]
