windows update

hi just got a new computer with win 8.1   its telling me im set up for win updates but when I try to download it run forever and the % poaded stays at zero.     any help  please

Hello try going to control panel_troubleshooter_ system and security-fix problems with Windows update it will show a small window click advanced options-run as administrator look if show any problems when finish reboot and doit again until doesnt show any problema then chech if you can update.

Windows Update Log
  • Right click on the aa922834-ed43-40f1-8830-d5507badb56c_39. button
  • Click on Run Inside the Run box copy and paste the following command
    cmd /c copy %windir%\WindowsUpdate.log "%userprofile%\Desktop\WindowsUpdate.txt"
  • Please go to your desktop and attach WindowsUpdate.txt to your next post
