Do you have the IE 9 browser?
Use CCleaner to remove Temporary files, program caches, cookies, logs, etc. Use the Default settings. No need to use the
Registry Cleaning Tool...risky. Pay close attention while installing and UNcheck offers of toolbars....especially Google.
After install, open CCleaner and run by clicking on the Run Cleaner button in the bottom right corner.

I think the best solution is to get a more modern browser. Suggest Firefox....Download Firefox — Free Web Browser — Mozilla

Click Start > Programs > Accessories > right-click on Command Prompt, select "Run as Administrator" to open an elevated command prompt.
In the Command Prompt, type in the bold text, one command after the other, pressing Enter between each one of them:
Reset WINSOCK entries to installation defaults: netsh winsock reset catalog
Reset IPv4 TCP/IP stack to installation defaults: netsh int ipv4 reset reset.log
Reset IPv6 TCP/IP stack to installation defaults: netsh int ipv6 reset reset.log
Restart the computer.
