haii..

 

i'm aeynie..student in networking..i have a few misunderstand about DNS. especially about opendns.

 

first of all my question is why OpenDNS has many disadvantages?

i need to understand it  to make sure i can really understand about it and can solve DNS Caching problem then finish my final year project.

What are the disadvantages to using OpenDNS servers? OR are you asking if there are any?

They might not be the fastest for you. Depending where you are. I use them because they are very reliable and until Google Fiber is avail in my area they are plenty fast for me =)

Both of these are amazing DNS testers. They both take a bit of time but will show you which are the best DNS servers for you.
