I am currently on an apprenticeship and I have just finished studying an SQL course, this was definitely my favorite of the courses

and I was wondering what sort of career paths would be available to me in SQL or what I can do to get into this path.

I have studied these modules:

Object orientated Java Programming (5wks)

SQL (2wks)

Web Devleopment (HTML/CSS/Javascript) (1wk )- I really did not enjoy webDev so preferably nothing in this area

Data Modelling (1 Day)

And my next course is MYSQL with PHP (1wk)

SQL is used a lot.

Just go to any jobposting website such as Linked-In and search SQL.

Like if you are in some serious Like-Like with SQL I would consider working at becoming a Data Base Architect, sometimes known as a DBA.

You might want to look into newer ways databases are being implemented such as Hadoop clusters and see where there are opportunities.

Learn a lot about the back-end technologies these databases are being built on.
