Hello Sean Ilnseher:

Without knowing your computer and system software details, ordinarily your updates would come through your system's App Store after having checked for system and application updates.

HTH :)

All viruses are malware but not all malware are viruses and if the malware doesn't self replicate it just isn't a virus.

Safari is a part of OS X (if you are using this versio or above), you simply need to upgrade your OS to update you internet browser.

Hope this helps. thanks

Go to the top left corner of your screen, click on the Apple logo; in the dropdown menu click on "Software Update".

I've learned blood is not thicker than money.

Hey Sean,

Expanding on what Twin B said, after you click the apple icon in the top left of your screen and select "software update," the app store will open and you will see the option to update safari and any other apps that have updates available. More information can be found on apple's support page here.

Let us know if you have any other questions!

If you get a pop-up on safari be carefully. Usually such sites use scripts to pop-up messages for redirections to other sites download suspicious updates.

Your got the updates over the App-Store for all your System-Software. Have you the link of the Web-Page you're visited? (Please if you post, make it unklickable e.g. with change the first letters to hxxp)
