Can't install downloads after virus alert.
XP sp3 with Firefox.

Used HitmanPro and Spyhunter scans which removed and improved things but obviously still something hiding somewhere. Can't continue cleaning without downloads!

Im not tech savvy but this infection is a real rite of passage!
Any help most welcome.

Hello see if one of he resolutions HERE gets you back.
How do I get help? Who is helping me?For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear....Become a BleepingComputer fan: Facebook

boopme thanks for that. I'd read it already but thanks again.

It;s probably the virus protection I've got installed. I'm told to disable them but not

brave enough after dealing with the last infection.

Onwards and up.....
