Hello, All:

I have a neighbor that plays pogo games and the computer will not use it.  The games are blocked by java.  I have downloaded and tried to install the JAVA and it says it is installed and same thing no matter what.  I even tried the exception list.  Does it all three browsers.

Google Chrome
Firefox
Internet Explorer

I hope I don't have to re-install Windows again.

Her Desktop is Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit

Her Laptop is Windows 8.1 64-Bit

Any ideas?

Which computer are you referring to?

It does this on both of her computers.  I hope it is not about to crash.

Java is disabled by default in your browsers, for security reasons. The warning used to be different and was asking you if you wanted to run the Java app or not. Now, there are two different plugins.

In Firefox, locate the Java™ Platform SE 8 U31 11.31.2.13 plugin.

At the end of the line, in the drop down menu, select Ask To Activate.

You'll then receive a different set of warnings, and you'll be able to accept and play the games.

I hate to say this but I think it is on Pogo's side.  It does it with all Broswers.  It will probably get so bad eventually that they will eventually quit playing their games and move on.
