An external hard drive of mine stopped working. I recently moved it into a new enclosure, it wants me to format the drive which of course I do NOT want to do until after I safely recover all of my files. The good news is once I installed the data recovery program, Get Data Back, I am able to see the files. I copied some of the smaller ones already without issue. I also have the licensed copy so I can copy unlimited files.

While trying to copy files from the Seagate hard drive to my NAS, GetDataBack does not see my network drive (even though I can via windows explorer). I get error code 0x80070035. I use Windows 8.

I do not have much space on my laptop so if I cannot figure this issue out, I will be able to copy only a few files at a time to my laptop and then from my laptop to my NAS. Being able to copy straight to my NAS will save me a significant amount of time.
