I run Windows XP Home Edition with SP2. I can view my Quicktime videos one time all the way through with no problems. If I want to view the same video immediately a second time, the Quicktime window turns to a blank green screen after playing the video for a few seconds. It started after I replaced my GEForce MX-4000 graphics card with a GEForce MX-5200, 8X AGP 128 Mb VRAM. The same files play with no problem on Kaffeine and also in MPlayer under Linux. Any ideas? There seems to be some kind of new incompatibility. The "new" graphics card was from another computer in my home, and it showed no problem with Quicktime on that computer.
