Au up Midduk’s

I will be moving 2 a M8’s house to dog sit while they go away for 2 weeks holiday. I can’t go that long without my PC. He has Windows XP I have Windows ME

What do I need to do on my PC before I leave and what files  do I need to put in my Briefcase then move to a 60Mb flash stick so I can still sign into these forums? Etc

I looked into “LogMeIn”

https://secure.logmein.com/go.asp?page=home

But didn’t like the “Terms and Conditions”, “EULA” and software needed…

You need your username and password.

This is true of most forums - just sign in and your sigfile, your history and so on is kept at the forum at which you are a member. Cookies on your computer remember your username and password, but you don't need to take them with you.
