hi my dad has an xp comouter but now has a windows 7 pc i want to transfer all his documents and all his programs including sage to windows 7,so in xp what folders should i copy to be sure i get everything???

please help or if i do windows easy transfer will that get everything,and how long would it take

IMO, programs do not transfer from one drive/system to another...they must be reinstalled.

 

The drivers for the new O/S will also have to be installed, since there is a difference between Old O/S and New O/S.

 

Transferring data files...is not the same as transferring programs and drivers.
