got on my pc today and the screen is pushed to the right by about 1 inch. ON the left is a black bar and the right side is cut off. I have played with monitor settings and is only makes minor adjustments.

could this be a setting in windows?

any suggestions?

Thank you.

What does the manual for the monitor suggest?

It would help if you provided the make and model of this computer and the monitor.

Normally you would use the screen adjustments on the monitor to correct this.  But first check that your computer video display has its resolution set to what you want then do the monitor adjustment.
