Hi there when I turned on my laptop this morning I discovered a extra lan adapter called tap-windows adapter v9 on. I recently installed spybot and connected, my tablet to it to charge beside that nothing else. I got bit defender ccleaner malwarebytes as well beside that. Is this someone trying to back-door my computer? I'm really worried and need some advice please

From my research it appears the TAP-Win32 Adapter V9 is a virtual network interface used by OpenVPN, Cyber Ghost, eCatcher and similar VPN programs.

A Google search shows numerous reports about it.
