I have a HP Pavillion20  8.,1. My printer is a HP 6530 all in one. Recently I had to take my computer in for repairs. Since then my printer sends me the message that it doesn't recognize the computer. How do I    enable scan to computer via the printer software. I tried unplugging and re plugging but thats not working.  Appreciate your input on this please.thank you.

What repairs were made to this computer?

Does Windows recognize the printer?

To see if it is recognized open the Control Panel, then click on Devices and Printers.

The printer works as far as printing off the  It shows a check mark by the 6520 printer. This is the message I get." No computer found" Make sure that scan to printer is enabled".

How do I enable it? I never had to do that before?

They just did a matrix diagnostic check and cleaned up the machine of old files etc.The computer wasn't booting up. Wouldn't get past the Welcome . The little circle kept going around. They fixed that.

Wonder if I need a new ethernet cord.  Would it help to unplug all again?
