I have purchased a number of movies on DVD over the years.  I would like to be able to shrink their size so I can put them on my Ipad air.

Is there software  (that is safe) that can be used by a novice to do this?

Thank you.

Smorton

Handbrake can do that, select "Web optimized" option while working with video and it'll be compressed

If you download Handbrake do you get a few free toolbars, etc or is it safe?

Thanks
