Installed 8.1 upgrade from 8.0. Now have inaccessible boot device blue screen. I can't run chkdsk /f becase I get a write only  rejection. Is there a program I can use ?

How did you do the upgrade?  With a disk or downloaded or ??  You can try booting off the windows disc and choosing the option to repair windows installation.  It sounds to me like you have a corrupt driver.

I did an online update. I am sure it's a driver, ATI catalyst I believe. I can get into the regedit file, can I fix it from there?
