Hello, I was just wondering if someone could recommend to me an HDMI to VGA adapter or cable which also carries audio. I understand that HDMI is digital and VGA is analog so it may not be optimal, but I am wanting to use my monitor (no HDMI port) as a primary display for all devices (Wii U, ipad) for when I go to college. If anybody knows a good adapter that they would recommend (preferably sub $50) that would be great. I would prefer one that can carry audio and has a 3.5mm jack for headphones or speakers. Thanks in advance!

Here is one video only from Monoprice, my go to place for inexpensive cables and adapters.  The only thing is that it is currently out of stock.  A lot of what I saw from Monoprice was VGA to HDMI, make sure your cable/device is HDMI to VGA.  Amazon has quite a few that do audio, I'd advise reading the reviews to see the experiences of others.

http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00Q8TLC9A I ended up buying this one. It supports audio and had good reviews. $25 isn't a bad price either. Thanks for the suggestion.
