"  Run "  any ideas out there yet on how I get the " Run " command back ?  ?

Tweaking.com's Windows Repair (All in One) may do the trick.  Accept the default checkmarks, maybe add #s 26 & 27 [if memory serves me].

tweaking.com [not tweak.com] should take you right to their goodies.

Hello Pestyone,

It sounds like you may have and infection, or some sort of malware preventing normal use of your IE browser.

I would post your issue in the "Am I infected, What do I do" section of this forum.

But just for a heads up, if it only gives you the option to save, then it may not be an executable file, so RUN wouldnt be an available option.

Verify it is actually opening in IE not another browser, it happens all the time at work and I get calls for the same thing\

Ok yikes this is what I feared taking for ever; its not two browsers; don t think its malware or infection but I am already posted in the malware forum chasing my tail nothing getting fixed yet that I can see; but to move on need to download something called "  ESET "  and then scan and post so far used 5 or 6 different and getting kept in the dark as to what is and isn t getting fixed which is not good ouchy.

Need Run not open fixed ; dang need a geeky team viewer friend to fix me up ; later I guess . .

I was recommending tweaking.com's Windows Repair (All in One) 'cause it seemed to me a good ReAssociation, ReRegistration, of Windows system files, restoring normal Windows operations, services would fix the problem.  Perhaps, I am mistaken.

Reset IE back to defaults.

Go to Tools > Internet options > Advance click on restore advance settings then click on reset

See if this helps

As the OP has a topic currently open in the Malware forum this topic is locked.  Resolution of possible malware problems has to be dealt with first.
