I currently have the following specs:

  • MOBO: MSI MS-7778 (Jasmine)
  • GPU: AMD Radeon HD 7540D
  • CPU: AMD A6-5400K APU with Radeon™ HD Graphics (2 CPUs) 3.60 GHz
  • RAM: 6.00 GB
  • WINDOWS VERSION: 8 64-bit

I'm about to get a 650W power supply so my question is will the card:

  • Nvidia
  • GeForce GTX 760

be compatible with my current motherboard?

You have one PCI-Express X16 slot on that motherboard according to this and with the power supply upgrade, you should be able to run a GTX 760.  The GeForce GTX 960 should be considered, it is less expensive and often gets better results.
