Hello, I'm having issues with popups and redirects in my web browsers. I formerly believed I was dealing with the "Trovi" infection. After posting a previous forum question on bleepingcomp and asking for help, I ran the cleaning tools as requested. I was told that the issue I was dealing with was "Trojan.Zaccess" and that further testing was needed. I'm hoping I can garner some insight as it's nearly impossible to do anything with the comp at this time and it's obviously very much infected and compromised. Thanks in advance. I've included the link to my original post, with logs included.

Hi Daniel,

I usually create a rescue or boot disk and hammer my system until it works. I use Sardu, Hirens, Trinity and a few other disks that have multiple antivirus programs and other tools to get rid of pesky viruses. Might take time for the scans but usually works for me. Here are some links if your interested in creating a disk.

http://www.sarducd.it/ for Sardu

http://www.hirensbootcd.org/download/ for Hirens

http://trinityhome.org/Home/index.php?content=TRINITY_RESCUE_KIT_DOWNLOAD for Trinity disk.

Hope this works if you haven't already figured it out.

Ron

Hi Daniel,

The advice given by boopme here is the best advice you can get here. I suggest you also to follow it and not any other advice.

In that forum you will get personal support for removing that virus from a trained helper. The advice above, don't do if you don't trust.

Best of luck mate!
