so i work at ashley furniture and we have some older computers.   We use windows XP, however they are all loaded on little hp servers.   The problem is whenever we open up certain webpages on internet explorer, ex. our own website,  www.ashleyfurniturehomestore.com,  the site has a continuous loop displaying the sale and it takes up all the memory (i guess that what you would call it)  so it makes it very very very difficult to use the page on our slow system.

Is there anyway to disable this without unchecking "show pictures" under internet options??

Somebody please help us!

IE 8 is not supported anymore on many websites. Could be the same for your website? Furthermore, it's not getting anymore security updates from Microsoft. What about Firefox?
