Hi Gabby :)

May I ask you how you reinstalled Windows on your laptop? Did you do a Factory Reset, or did you do a "clean" Windows installation from an installation media you had or you created, such as a DVD or USB? Also, which program are you trying to download?

The error could be caused by a number of issues, ranging from hardware issues to problems with the installer file.

Try going through these steps: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_7-system/nsis-error/4e2c6938-8727-4cc8-b783-557e5d0e9f26

well I did a factory reset and I think I tired a few downloads to fix it but I don't want to pay for it when it's only happened to that one download plus I didn't think a factory reset would mess up like that for me to have to pay for something that isn't all my fault cause all the download I tired weren't free they needed a product key and asked me to pay for something and I don't have money to pay for it .

It would help if you could tell us what you are trying to download exactly. Reason is that I'll try to download the same files on one of my VM and see if it works or if I get the same error as you. "cause all the download I tired weren't free they needed a product key and asked me to pay for something and I don't have money to pay for it." What exactly do you have to pay for?
