When I try to access the Internet, I am sent to a site that has a dark blue screen and it asks me for a sign on and password. I took my computer in and did a full wipe of the disk, etc. At the store the Internet access works. I brought it home and hooked up the Internet and I have the same problem. If I turn the wifi on my iPad, I get the same message. Is this a virus? An earthlink problem? I have no idea what to try now.

Try to reset your router...

Turn the computer off.

On your router, you'll find a pinhole marked "Reset".
Keep pushing the hole, using a pencil, or a paperclip until all lights briefly come off and on.
NOTE. Simple router disconnecting from a power source will NOT do.
Restart computer.

NOTE. You may need to re-check your router security settings, as described HERE
