Hi,
I have problems with ssearch.biz hijacker and don;t seem to be able to get rid of it. IE gets locked up and when it doesn't, it goes to ssearch.biz, constantly.
As soos as this is fixed, I will download and use Firefox and ditch IE.

Here is the HJT log:

Hello NoBullMan,

You don't have the latest version of HijackThis. Open HijackThis again then, on the right hand side, click on Other stuff, then Config, then Misc Tools, then Check for update online.

If that doesn’t work delete the copy you have and download a new copy from one of the following links: LINK 1 LINK 2 LINK 3.

Important: Create a folder on the C: drive called C:\HJT.
You can do this by going to My Computer (Windows key+e) then double click on C: then right click and select New then Folder and name it HJT.
Move HijackThis into this folder. When you run HijackThis from this folder and have it "Fixed checked" it will create a backup file of modifications to use if restore is necessary.

Please download and run this tool from Symantec:

http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcen...moval.tool.html
Follow Symantec's instructions for how to run it.

When the removal process is finished you will find a log on your Desktop . Don't delete it. Please copy & paste the contents of the log as a reply to this post along with a new HijackThis log.
