I was introduced to this software a few days ago and am keen to know if anyone else has used it? If so what was your experience with it? Would you recommend using it in desperate needs? (I was originally introduced to it through a colleague who was dealing with a user who had somehow managed to take away all rights to their C drive, even domain admin).

I've never used it. I have read about it (and similar projects) before, but since WinPE always met my limited needs I never moved BartPE. With XP on the outs I've had no reason to try it since. I will say that having some sort of bootable OS handy is always a good idea.
