Outlook Search Incomplete - Indexing Doesn't Finish

Search in the Outlook 2010 doesn't find items. When I look at the Indexing Status under Search Tools, it states "Outlook is currently indexing your items. 19173 items remaining to be indexed." The number doesn't change. Any help is greatly appreciated!
