I've had my LG Flatron E2050T for more than three years. Recently, I've had trouble turning on the monitor. All I get is the LG logo, followed by a black screen. The lights at the bottom panel(including the power button) are on. The monitor also feels warm to touch. So what could be the problem? Should I be looking for a new monitor? Thanks in advance!

It can also be a problem with your pc.

It can be VGA-card, memory, cpu or mainboard.

Because you still get the LG Logo.
The leds on the bottom, are they getting a other color? (Like it go's to stand by modus)

No, they're purple like always. I don't think it's a problem with my computer, because sometimes repeatedly hitting the power button would cause it to work and everything works fine on the screen, but not today..
