Unwanted Windows shortcut.

When I start typing everything is fine until I press the  '  key as in 'don't'. . The keyboard then switches to Thai which can be very annoying. Easy to correct of course. 

What I don't understand: this ONLY happens the FIRST time I use this key. Afterwards all is ok.

Sorry I didn't get back sooner. As you can see, pressing the ' symbol no longer changes input language. I chose 'not assigned'.
