Hello, I am helping a computer illiterate friend clean up malware on her computer.

The Internet won't load any page. The computer stalls when opening a program. If I boot up in safe mode, everything seems fine. Programs load and the computer response is fast.

I ran some anti malware programs like Avast, did a full scan and found something that was named MyBabylonTB.exe but there are still issues. What should I do? Thank you!

You have two antivirus applications.

McAfee total Access – Total Protection (HKLM\...\MSC) (Version: 13.6.1248 - McAfee, Inc.)

Avast Internet Security (HKLM\...\Avast) (Version: 10.0.2208 - AVAST Software)

I would strongly suggest that you remove one of them, reboot and run the removal tool below.

MCPR  Mcafee Removal tool.

https://www.avast.com/en-us/uninstall-utility Avast Removal Tool.

I do however suggest that you remove both and switch to a much better Antivirus Solution, for free of course. If you decide to instal one of the below then run the removal tools for each above.  (Better IMO) :)

360 Total Security

SecureAPlus

When you have done what you choose then please post back. :)

It's running smoothly after I uninstalled the other anti virus programs and ran 360 Total Recruit. Thank you for the swift response and of course the expert assistance.
