Good morning BC community!

I go by the handle of "TechnicianOnline". I was hanging out on an IRC channel by GeeksToGo and was asked to join the forums as there are many awesome people here, I have known of BleepingComputer for years! Although I only used it as a reference for malware removal and amazing software.

I'm an IT Consultant at an amazing Managed Service Provider here in Orange County California. I've been involved in IT since I was 15 (estimated) and haven't been able to get away from it since. My previous experience was a Data Center Technician at 18 years old, an IT Specialist for a Mortgage Company at 19, a Support Engineer at a MSP/SaaS distributor and of course now an IT Consultant at 21 years of age.

That being said, my schooling mainly took place online and of course in College, joining and completing a few things like the Cisco Networking Academy (0-4), Western Regional Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition, National Cyber League.

-Edit: Just pointing out I was on the blue team, which our role was to defend against the red team hackers. You have to protect your computer/workstations and network from getting hacked and knocked offline.

That's a little background info on me, I plan to be an active member of the community and actively help people as much as possible. The few days I've been on the IRC chat room, with the help of other members here, I can recall 4/5 people helped haha.

I hold two certifications, one is McAfee SaaS F3 from Intel Security and a Systems Engineer from ConnectWise.

I hope to continue my schooling and get more certifications in shortly.

My goal is to learn more about Windows and malware removal to better focus on my career by joining BC Study Hall, helping people along the way and of course most importantly to contribute to the collective by networking with the community. Ultimately speaking with people of greater or equal knowledge and wisdom is key to progressing in such a complex field, Information Technology.

A Network isn't something you 'own' or 'have'; you may only wield it like the sword of Excalibur.
