Recently my fast and reliable PC suddenly bogged down dramatically. Internet connections kept timing out, right clicking anything to get a contextual menu took forever, etc. All virus/malware scans came up clean, a variety of utilities like CCleaner and Secuni PSI failed to help. I had heard that sudden-onset problems might be a result of new software. I had recently installed the free Comodo Backup (without the "extra" in the installer) after finding good reviews. I uninstalled it, and my computer was back to normal!
So, diagnose why Comodo created havoc, or simply find an equivalent product? I really liked the interface, but ...
I'm running Windows 7 64bit with 8GB RAM and a Samsung solid state drive.
