Hi All,

Happy 2015 to everyone out there!  It's been a while since I posted, but I've run into an annoying issue.

My Win7 box (32-bit) works just fine, then all of a sudden, I cannot connect to any webpage.  I've noted the following:

- all browsers are affected (I use IE & Firefox)

- I also cannot get email, because I cannot connect to the internet

- running the built-in troubleshooter does not detect the problem

- there are no yellow bangs, question marks, or exclamation points in any of my Device Manager listings....all drivers are functioning

- it happens intermittently, sometimes I only have the computer on for a few minutes and I get disconnected, sometimes I can go several hours, occasionally, it never happens

- rebooting ALWAYS fixes the issue

This only happens on my desktop, my modem, router and ISP are fine since I can access the net on my smartphone, tablet, and laptop.  The issue doesn't occur there.

I tried running Tweaking.com's Windows Repair-all-in-One and used the "Repair Winsock & DNS Cache".  After I ran that it asks me to reboot.  Instead of rebooting, I simply tried the internet again....and it worked.

I also ran MiniToolbox and took two logs, one when the internet was fine, the other when it wasn't working.  The option I chose was the "IP Configuration" option.

Here are the logs:

Have you tried updating your network adapter driver?

I would agree with the advise of Phantom010 in trying to find if there is an updated driver version or reinstalling the same version just in case there is none. It would also help if you would post the complete Mintoolbox next time please. Another worth step to try is using ipconfig /flushdns in command prompt then check the difference. Using public dns addresses are also a popular alternative since you have obtain successfully (same) IPv4 address on both instances with and without browser response from your minitoolbox logs.
