Might help if you tell us what folder(s) you're trying to delete... or post a screenshot.

Try this. http://www.malwarebytes.org/fileassassin/

Warning: Please use caution with FileASSASSIN as deleting critical system files may cause system errors.

I used to recommend a program called Unlocker but now it bundles adware/spyware/toolbars etc  ... Caveat emptor:ph34r:
There's also this: http://www.majorgeeks.com/files/details/lockhunter_77a7.html but I can't vouch for it as I've never tried it.

Good Luck.

Ok this is getting silly and dragged out; just trying to turn off Admin control so trying something I invented not making it harder.

I did a system restore but that stupid admin control was still on; then after a lot of googling found something call " Taking ownership " and that is working so far; I can open; move and delete all folders so far; fingers crossed for any Admin blocked folder ; so far so good and hope it can me into all folders amazing how hard that's been ouchy .

Now back to googling how does the laptop owner; 1 person user shut down Admin control must be

a simple easy way to do that hummm trying to get that fixed here as made me curious so looking about harder ho hum -  later
