Hello everyone...

I read a while back the original Nintendo Wii's wi-fi was canceled out/discontinued. Does this only mean you can't play games online against other people or does the Wii's browser not work anymore either?

I would like to take one out with me for spring break and use the hotel's wi-fi to surf the web if that's possible.

If anyone knows or has firsthand experience with the original Wii system, I would appreciate any information you can provide.

i think they have removed their servers for such old console games. or better still their servers in your location may have been disconnected. try connecting to a US server with vpn and see what happens.
