hi lately i cant open certain programs in normal mode(internet explorer, security center, java),they freeze up and reboot computer.Internet explorer tries to start but the page freezes and reboots, upon reboot i get a quick flash of a blue screen then starts up.Ive been reading similar problems on this forum and tried system restore, scan now,tds killer, adwarecleaner, rkill, malwarebytes, tfc, superantispyware, got rid of a lot programs, internet explorer reset, disabled addons and nothing works and all came up clean.I still can't solve this, i was hoping for some help btw i also tried to use the start up disc, but it failed and i can no longer get into bios, any help would be appreciated thank you.

I believe that should account for any freezes when running programs...limited resouces are not the best fit for Windows, in spite of the MS advertising blurb.

You seem to have two AV programs installed:  Avast AV and Freedom AV.  System also reflects BitDefender Threat Scanner as a service that is momentarily stopped.  I would attempt uninstall of all 3 of these...then reinstall Avast.  For those with services running, you can manually disable those.  Start/Run...type services.msc and hit Enter.  in right column...scroll sown to Bit Defender and/or Freedom.  Freedom is also reflected as your operative firewall, yet I see nothing running to indicate that such is accurate.

Having more than one AV program installed..;has historically been known to lead to unwanted system problems.

You have Free Window Registry Repair installed, which is a "registry cleaner/optimizer".  BC does NOT support the use of such programs.

Speccy is detecting something that says it's on the system.

Did you uninstall Windows Registry Repair?

IMO, it would be wise to move this topic to Am I Infected to check the possibility of malware.

Is Zeroknowledge listed in Start > All programs? If it is, there may be an uninstall option under the Zeroknowlege menu.

According to Zeroknowledge the software is installed to each profile. If you have another profile (user) on the computer log into that account and see if ZeroKnowledge is in Add/Remove Programs.

Google chrome installs with avast.  One thing to look for. Go to My Computer C:\Program Files. Is there a Zeroknowledge folder shown? If there is, look in the folder for a file called uninstall.

When you go to Start > All Programs   is Freedom or Zeroknowledge in Startup?

Go to Control Panel > Security Center. Click the double down arrow under the Firewall section. What firewall does it say is running?
