I have got an old Toshiba lap top computer,I partioned and formatted it and now can't reload windows:-(
I am going round in circles.... :thumbsup:
When I start up from the boot disk for 95 it says remove the disk and strike any key,when i do that it then says invalid system disk replace the disk and strike any key! I do not know anything about laptops,and got this one given afraid there isnt a manual with it,can anyone please help it's driving me nut's!!!!!

Are you removing the boot floppy and the CD?

I can not boot up from the CDROM, yes I do change the drive over to boot from HARD DRIVE but it will not work for some reason I know the driver is loaded.so have to boot from the floppy.Thanks for trying to help

I have tried sta :thumbsup: rting it in safe mode and all the other modes,it will boot up but will not load windows.

Old Toshiba's were always a bear because bios info is stored on the hard drive and then lost when the drive is formatted by traditional means.
Just so I get this right Bod, that laptop has an internal, non-removable cd-rom drive and the floppy is external?
